A lovely delicious bread with a slight sweetness!

  1. In a bowl add 1/2 cup warm water sugar and yeast to proof set aside.
  2. Place 1 cup of water into your mixing bowl select kettle function insert lid turn dial.
  3. Add butter, honey, salt and oats select reverse speed 2 for 1 minute
  4. Add yeast mixture 30 seconds speed 1
  5. Add flour, potatoe starch and eggs select dough function 3 minutes
  6. Spray your thermomix bread tin and lid with non stick cooking spray
  7. Spray dough with non stick spray and Leave to rise 15 minutes in your mixing bowl covered with mixing bowl lid.
  8. Place the dough out onto work surfaces by turning over mixing bowl and releasing blade onto oiled mat then shape into a log place in a thermomix loaf pan this makes a good size loaf so this is the perfect size for it
  9. Cover and leave to rise until just over 3/4 of the pan height meanwhile preheat oven 180C
  10. At this point, you can do an egg wash on top add oats to top of the loaf I only recommend this if using no lid on your pan.
  11. Egg wash one egg tablespoon water mix and use a little amount to brush the top of loaf then add oats be careful not to deflate your dough.
  12. Bake with the lid on for 30 minutes or until hollow when tapped and cooked through.
  13. Remove from pan immediately place on wire rack brush top with butter and leave to cool completely while loaf finishes cooking don’t cut into it until cool or it will not be cooked through!
