Cashew milk is delicious in smoothies and particularly good in coffee due to how creamy and smooth it is.
It is best to soak your cashews overnight in the fridge in plenty of water.
You also need a nut milk bag, these can be purchased at any health food store or online.
- Soak cashews in water overnight, or at least two hours prior to making your nut milk.
- Drain and rinse cashews, place in mixing bowl with filtered water, pinch of salt, dates or maple syrup and vanilla bean paste.
- Blend 1 1/2 minutes speed 9.
- Drain through nut milk bag into a large bowl, discard pulp and store cashew milk in a sealed bottle for up to five days.
